Dr. Koenig provides comprehensive eye examinations for all age groups, including diagnosing, managing and treating diseases or injuries of the eye. She specializes in low vision rehabilitation, which is defined as a visual impairment, not corrected by standard eyeglasses, contact lenses, medicine or surgery, which interferes with the ability to perform everyday activities. After providing a careful evaluation, rehabilitation of a visually impaired individual may involve a variety of treatment options including prescription eye wear, optical devices, electronic aids, adaptive computer software, glare control, counseling and education, and independent living aids.
