About Carley Irlmeier, DO
Dr. Carley Irlmeier provides Family Medicine care for patients of all ages at McFarland Clinic’s South Ames Office. She enjoys meeting people at every stage of life, hearing their stories, and learning what matters to them. Her clinical interests include preventive care, well-child visits, annual wellness visits for adults, acute health concerns, and the management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
Dr. Irlmeier believes meaningful care begins with getting to know each patient as a person, including their medical history, concerns, and individual interests. She approaches patients with empathy, meets them where they are, and works collaboratively toward the shared goal of helping them feel better.

Professional & Personal Interests
Hobbies and Personal Interests
Family: I am working hard to maintain the status of favorite aunt to 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
Travel: I have been exploring the world with my grandmother since 2016, working our way through the wonders of the world. I love meeting new people, experiencing other cultures, and of course trying new foods.
Coffee, reading, and movies: You can usually catch me seeing the newest movie releases, usually with my father. I am always looking for great local coffee shops, often with a book in hand.
