Marc Shulman, MD Joins McFarland Clinic Sports Medicine

McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce Marc Shulman, MD has joined our Sports Medicine - Primary Care department. Dr. Shulman has served as Iowa State University team physician for over 20 years.

Dr. Shulman completed a sports medicine fellowship and family medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He completed a general surgery internship at Mt. Carmel Mercy Medical Center in Detroit. Dr. Shulman received his doctorate of medicine from Wayne State University in Detroit.

As a sports medicine provider, Dr. Shulman specializes in non-surgical orthopedic care of athletes of all levels and ages. A sports medicine specialist can maximize nonoperative treatment, guide appropriate referrals to physical and occupational therapies, and if necessary expedite referral to an orthopedic/sports surgeon.
