Esteffania Villegas, MD Joins McFarland Clinic Cardiology

McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce that Esteffania Villegas, MD has joined our Cardiology Department as an Interventional Cardiologist.

Dr. Villegas received her Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Cumbaya, Ecuador. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center of Chicago. Dr. Villegas went on to complete her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship from Rosalind Franklin University at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago.

As a cardiologist, Dr. Villegas will diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases and conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels including coronary artery disease, angina, and arrhythmias. She will provide stress testing, transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TTE), direct current cardioversions (DCC), and electrocardiograms (ECG).
