McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce that Alejandra Londoño, MD has joined our Rheumatology department in Ames.
Dr. Londoño came to Ames from New York City where she was an assistant professor of medicine and attending physician at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Londoño received her Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency, Rheumatology Fellowship, and Masters in Clinical Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in New York, New York.
As a rheumatologist, Dr. Londoño will offer services for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and gout among other types of arthritis. She will also offer services for autoimmune diseases such as lupus, myositis, Sjogren’s syndrome, vasculitis, mixed connective tissue disease, and scleroderma in addition to metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis and musculoskeletal conditions.
