Job Details
McFarland Clinic, P.C. is currently seeking a Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Physician to provide pulmonary and critical care physician services to patients in clinical settings, and round on patients and provide call coverage in hospital settings in Ames, IA and Marshalltown, IA.
Duties include: Diagnose and treat lung conditions like pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis and emphysema and complicated chest infections. Additionally, provide critical care and manage patients on life support and mechanical ventilation.
Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position are a Medical Degree or foreign equivalent; completion of a 36-month Residency in Internal Medicine; completion of a 36-month Fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine; possess or be eligible for an Iowa Medical License; eligibility for registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration; and eligibility for reimbursement from the Medicare/Medicaid programs. Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
