The new McFarland Clinic North Ames Office opened on, Monday, September 13th.
The McFarland Clinic North Ames Office is conveniently located at 3815 Stange Road next to Fareway in north Ames. The new office features providers and services in Family Medicine and Physical Therapy. Laboratory and radiology services are also on-site.
This is the third Family Medicine location and the fourth Physical Therapy office to open in Ames.
Dr. Matthew Baughman, from Family Medicine East, and Dr. Donald Skinner, from Family Medicine West, are the first two physicians in the new office location along with Rhonda Rippey, ARNP, formally of Family Medicine East. Bradley Jordison, DO will be joining the team in the summer of 2011. The office can accommodate up to six primary care providers.
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation services are available in the new McFarland North Ames Office. Jill Robinson, DPT, is the onsite physical therapist.
“Our priority as a multi-specialty clinic is to ensure access and coordination of care for our area residents,” said Dr. Michael Kitchell, McFarland Neurologist and president of the McFarland Board of Directors. “The expansion of primary care services in Ames with the opening of our third family medicine office is fitting to our commitment to broaden access to physician care.”
The new McFarland Clinic North Ames office is the first McFarland facility constructed to accommodate the latest in digital operations for the practice. “This is the first time we have ever constructed or arranged for a medical office without a medical records room,” said Steve Koger, CEO McFarland Clinic, “With the implementation of our electronic medical record throughout our clinics, there is no need for a medical record room to contain paper charts.”
