McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce Dana Hartwigsen, DO has joined our Pediatrics department in Ames.
Dr. Hartwigsen completed her Pediatrics Residency at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha through the University of Nebraska and Creighton University Medical Center. She received her doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Des Moines University.
Dr. Hartwigsen’s medical interests include well child care for newborns, infants and children to age 21, treatment for minor injuries, lacerations, sprains and strains, infant and child immunizations, care for acute illnesses, emphasis on healthy lifestyles with focus on improved nutrition and physical activity, treatment of chronic conditions such as asthma, seasonal allergies, ADD/ADHD, chronic constipation.
