McFarland Clinic added Behavioral Medicine services and social worker Lisa Barnes, LISW in January. Behavioral Medicine provides supportive, compassionate care to patients and their families with health-related problems and concerns.
As a provider in behavioral medicine, Lisa works closely with the patient and their primary care provider to identify their needs and develop a treatment plan to help promote mental health and well-being.
Your McFarland Clinic primary care provider can help coordinate an appointment with the Behavioral Medicine Department. If you need help establishing with a primary care provider, please call 515-956-4110.
Lisa completed her bachelors of science degree at Kansas State University. She completed a masters of social work degree, with an integrated practice concentration, at the University of Denver. Lisa has extensive experience in social work, including private practice and within medical practices.
