McFarland Clinic PC Board of Directors announced today that Steve Koger, Chief Executive Officer, has decided to retire from McFarland Clinic on December 31, 2014.
“Steve has been a strong leader for our organization over the past 13 years,” stated Dr. Michael Kitchell, McFarland Clinic Board President. “With his leadership, our multi-specialty group has improved our care coordination, collaboration, and service to bring about better health outcomes for our patients. His many accomplishments in leading our group will have a lasting effect on the health of our community.”
“I have enjoyed the privilege of working 40 years in medical management, the last 13 of which have been with McFarland Clinic,’ said Koger. “This announcement precedes the actual date of my retirement by a year to allow ample time for the recruitment of a new CEO.”
The McFarland Clinic Board of Directors will conduct the process to select Koger’s successor starting in January of 2014. A new leader is expected to be named in the fall of 2014.
