Jonathon Geisinger, MD Joins McFarland Clinic Ames Orthopedic Spine Surgery

McFarland Clinic is pleased to announce that Jonathon Geisinger, MD has joined the Orthopedic Surgery Department as a Spine Surgeon in Ames.

Dr. Geisinger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. He went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Michigan. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship for Spinal Surgery at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Geisinger joins McFarland Clinic with three years of experience in private practice.
 
As an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Geisinger specializes in the full spectrum of spine surgery. He performs surgery on the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He treats patients for degenerative spine conditions like spinal stenosis and herniated discs. Dr. Geisinger also treats spinal deformities like scoliosis. As part of a comprehensive spine practice, Dr. Geisinger performs cervical disc replacements, minimally invasive spine surgeries, and revision spine surgeries.
