McFarland Vein Clinic phlebologist, Renald Bernard, MD will be offering free vein screenings in Ankeny on September 26 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Dr. Bernard is board certified in Phlebology and has been dedicated to the treatment of veins for over 30 years.
Dr. Bernard offers cosmetic and medical treatment of leg vein disease including spider veins, varicose veins, and other conditions that can be caused by vein diseases of lower extremities such as restless legs, leg fatigue, pain, edema and leg ulcers, including lymphedema.
Medical procedures for the treatment of veins include endovenous laser ablation, ambulatory phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. At the screening, Dr. Bernard will make recommendations for treatment. Many insurance companies will cover medical treatment for vein diseases.
