This Prime Time Alive program, sponsored by Mary Greeley Medical Center is presented by Imran Dotani, MD of McFarland Clinic Cardiology.
The most common cause of death in the United States is coronary artery disease (CAD). These arteries are the blood supply for the heart muscle and can cause heart attacks when blocked thus causing muscle damage with heart failure, arrhythmias and death. We will discuss the options and when to use stents and bypasses for the treatment of CAD and the benefits and risks involved in each.
Location: Mary Greeley Medical Center's South Auditorium, Ames.
