The McFarland Clinic Cardiology department and technical services offers cardiology services. In addition to office consultations, the McFarland Cardiology Department with its team of advanced cardiac life support trained registered nurses also provides pacemaker and anticoagulation clinics for patients. A number of diagnostic tests are also offered on an outpatient basis.

Cardiologists are skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The cardiologist cares for patients with a variety of heart problems, from acute heart attack to various arrhythmias and/or chronic heart problems.

Some of the diagnostic tools used by Cardiologists are ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and cardiac catheterization. Cardiologists work closely with both primary care and other specialty physicians in prescribing a complete regimen of treatment for cardiac patients.
