Ob/Gyn Department Welcome Nurse Midwife

McFarland Clinic would like to welcome Alice May, CNM to the obstetrics and genecology department located at 1015 Duff Avenue in Ames. She will begin seeing patients in December as a certified nurse midwife.

May completed her master of science in nursing and certificate in nurse-midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky.

She completed her post graduate training at Midwest Health Partners in Norfolk, Nebraska and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

“I am delighted to be joining the McFarland clinic where I will have the opportunity to serve the healthcare needs of women. I look forward to being a member of the McFarland Ob/Gyn and midwifery team, working to support and empower women in their healthcare choices,” said May.
