McFarland Clinic Welcomes New Podiatrist

AMES, Iowa – McFarland Clinic would like to welcome Erin Nelson, DPM to the Podiatry Department located at 1215 Duff Avenue in Ames. She will begin seeing patients in August. Dr. Nelson will be joining Dr. Gilarski in their podiatry practice.

Dr. Nelson received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She completed her post graduate training at St. John North Shores Hospital in Harrison Township, Michigan and Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines.

“Being an Iowa native, I wanted to return "home" for my career and to raise my family. When visiting McFarland Clinic I found it to be very community oriented. Everyone I met had such pride for the clinic and for Ames,” said Dr. Nelson.
