Family Medicine Physician Joins McFarland Marshalltown

McFarland Clinic would like to welcome Sumathi Chellappa, MD, to the Family Medicine Department located at 312 East Main in Marshalltown. She will begin seeing patients in July.

Dr. Chellappa received her medical degree at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in India. She completed her residency in family medicine at Mercy Family Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa.

I have been well trained at providing care to patients from different ethnicities. My husband and I have lived in small communities during most of our time in the United States over the past seven years. We have a penchant for small community life which offers peace and quiet.
