Urology

The specialty of Urology deals with the problems of the urinary system in persons of pediatric and adult age groups, both male and female. It also covers problems of the male reproductive system, including infertility.

The urologists use medical and surgical approaches to the treatment of many diseases, including prostate disorders, incontinence, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and cancers of the urinary tract.

Newer urologic modalities are also available, such as ESWL and laser treatments for stones. Minimally invasive prostate treatments, such as microwave therapy are also offered.
