At McFarland Clinic, we know urgent health care needs arise at all times. That is why we’re ready to provide you care after hours. The Urgent Care Clinic at McFarland Clinic offers increased access to the trusted providers, nurses and support staff you have come to rely upon.

What is Urgent Care?
The McFarland Urgent Care Clinic provides care for acute, non-emergent health problems or injuries that require immediate attention. The Urgent Care Clinic is available during evenings and weekends by appointment only. You do not have to be an established McFarland Clinic patient to be served in the Urgent Care Clinic.

Follow-up care, if necessary, will be coordinated with your primary care provider. The Urgent Care Clinic is not meant to take the place of your primary care provider. Children under six months of age will not be seen at the Urgent Care Clinic.

If you are experiencing a health emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Urgent Care Treatment
• Some examples of urgent care health problems include:
• Upper respiratory problems (sore throat, earache, sinus symptoms)
• Allergy complaints, conjunctivitis, stye
• Minor skin infections (rashes, moles, cold sores, warts, impetigo, ringworm)
• Minor burns
• Insect bites, minor animal or human bites
• Minor complaints from car accident (without loss of consciousness)
• Urinary tract infections
• Minor gynecological problems
• Minor lacerations, contusions, abrasions
• Simple musculoskeletal complaints
• Routine screening if not established with a primary care provider (Tetanus update, immunizations, vaccines, brief employment physicals)
• Headache-mild or established migraine diagnosis with no acute changes
• Bladder infections
• Recent onset nausea/diarrhea
