Physical Therapy
Physical or Occupational therapists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat people with health problems resulting from injury or disease. Therapists assess joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, as well as performance activities required in daily living, among other responsibilities. Treatment typically involves therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, cardiovascular endurance training, and training in activities of daily life. The program integrates a team approach consisting of the athletic trainer, physical therapist, orthopedic surgeon, radiologist and family physician.
Industrial Rehabilitation: Multi-faceted approach to treating industrial related musculo skeletal injuries. Services range from acute therapies, return to work programs, and injury prevention services.
General Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitation: Evaluate and treat a variety of musculoskeletal injuries with the goal of restoration of function in the shortest period of time.
Hand Therapy: A specialist who deals specifically with the rehabilitation of the hand.
Pediatric Rehabilitation: Comprehensive physical, occupational and speech rehab service for the pediatric population suffering from both neurological and orthopedic developmental delays.
