About Frequencies

Nearly 80 million Americans are affected by some sort of varicose vein problem according to the American Academy of Dermatology.
Women have a higher prevalence of varicose veins than men, 25% in women versus 12% in men. The primary reason for varicose veins in women is hormonal relating to pregnancy and estrogen.
Interestingly, only 1% of women in certain countries such as lowland New Guinea are affected with varicose veins versus 50% women in South Wales. Industrialized countries show a higher percentage of people with varicose veins due to the amount of chair sitting. Other plausible reason is higher percentage of fat intake compared to the third world country.
