Cardiology
A cardiologist is a physician skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The cardiologist cares for patients with a variety of heart problems, from acute heart attack to various arrhythmias and/or chronic heart problems. Some of the diagnostic tools used by cardiologists are ECG, echo-cardiography, stress tests and cardiac catheterization. This physician also has expertise in interpreting these tests.
